Ben Young
Writer Director
Ben Young is an award winning writer/director who began his career acting for screen at the age of 12.
His 2016 feature debut Hounds of Love won numerous awards around the world, most notably at The Venice Film Festival. Ben’s second film Extinction premiered on Netflix on 2018 and feature Michael Pena and Lizzy Caplan.
Ben directed a block of Netflix’s Clickbait in 2020 and the season finale of the second season of Amazon’s The Wilds in 2021. He is currently in post production for his movie, Where All Light Tends to Go starring Billy Bob Thornton and Robin Wright which will premier in 2023.
Scott Hitchcock
Creative Director
Scott started his obsession with art and design in a salty sea shack down under in Australia. Inspiration fueled by Mambo’s Reg Mombassa, skateboarder the Gonz, Big Brother magazine and Mad Max Films he developed a passion for good ideas, face melting graphic design and story telling. Being isolated in a smaller city developed Scott’s creative side and tested his imagination to create new ways to have fun.
Most recently Scott has been Welden + Kennedy’s creative director on IKEA based in China responsible for the brand across Asia. Scott is humble about his achievements but would be ranked as one of WA’s most awarded creative exports.
Katy Steele
Singer/Songwriter
At the age of 19 Katy became the lead singer of one of Australia’s biggest bands Little Birdy. This saw her travel all over the world for showcases and touring to build her fanbase for over 15 years.
After moving to Brooklyn, NYC her solo career developed and her distinctive voice and song writing has only grown in spades alongside her unique style which has made her a chameleon of an artist.
Katy has been awarded WAMI’s Best Female Vocalist twice, as well as APRAs Best Contemporary Music Prize.
