On November 21st, industry leaders and creatives gathered at Lawson Flats for IN:WA's final panel event of 2024, titled "Creative vs Commercial." The event, moderated by Jennifer McMahon of Modern People Global, sparked a dynamic discussion on the evolving relationship between creativity and commercial success in today's market.

IN:WA has made the most of continued support from the broader commercial communication sector in Western Australia. Three new members reflect the breadth of organisations who are all finding real value for their respective businesses; from boutique design studios like And/And, production companies like Sandbox, through to PR and multi-faceted marketing agencies like Detail.

IN:WA, the advocacy organisation for Western Australia’s Independent Commercial Communications Businesses, has announced the addition of three new members to its growing network. Joining the diverse group of businesses that are providing an environment for local talent to thrive and are delivering excellent work for their clients are Bang Digital, Distl and Social Meteor.

Our next panel event ‘Boom or Bust: How business resilience builds future success’ is on May 31 at The Backlot Cinema. This is going to be a really interesting discussion with a stellar panel of speakers including Di Bain (Bain Media / Tourism WA / City of Perth), Vince Frost (Frost* Collective) and James Walsh (Deloitte Access Economics).
